13th Annual Mammoth Bluesapalooza & Festival of Beers

Successfully celebrating its 13th year, Mammoth’s Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza promises an energetic lineup of blues talent and a grand tasting of microbrews
from around the country. It all takes place outdoors among the pines at Sam’s Wood Site, located on Minaret Road between Main Street and Meridian Blvd., with California’s Eastern High Sierra as the backdrop. Mammoth’s Festival of Beers features more than 50 of the country’s best microbreweries such as Mammoth Brewing Company (sponsor of the event), Coronado, Mendocino, Bear Republic, Anderson Valley, Anacapa, Ballast Point, Kern River, San Diego, Samuel Adams, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing and many more. Along with the beer and blues, a “Blues-style” BBQ and plenty of other foodstuff will satisfy the heartiest of appetites and keep the party going!

Introducing the 2008 Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival summer season - a year that aims to be the most exciting, diverse and engaging in the event's 36 year history. Offering a varied program this summer featuring Shakespearean classics and a brand new contemporary musical. We are delighted to announce our plays this season that feature the gleefully wicked Richard III, never before seen at Sand Harbor, paired nicely with the charming and beautiful Bard favorite, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Our Monday night production is the brand new musical CAMBIO based on the Victor Hugo novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

For 36 years, this tradition has been celebrated by Tahoe Yacht Club Foundation at the Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance, a gathering of the finest antique wooden boats in North America - and some say - in the world.
